Morning all, I know, I know, it's been a minute.
I have a 99 3.2 Frontera B and there is a grinding and general lumpy angry sound from the front drivers side hub. I jacked it up and can hear what I'm assuming to be the front bearings.
Now I know the bearings are the same as the Trooper, as are most parts on these trucks.
My questions is, are they a massive nightmare to change? I don't have a great amount of tools anymore as I got rid of my business. I also have a garage full of motorbikes so am now working on my drive and now living in Wales on the beacons, so you can imagine the weather lol.
Could I knock out both sides in a day? Do I need any special tools? I want to do inner and outer if possible.
Hope I'm still welcome here even though it's not a Trooper.

very easy to do as long as you get the right bearings, if you get the wrong ones then you can't get the circlip on at the end of the job and you have to start again. no special tools needed just knock them out and the new ones in. |
