First time around 59mph just like running out of fuel then cut out. Restarted got me home. 2nd time cut out while driving slowly across grass. Restarted when I tapped a wire from battery to the injector pump fuel cut valve. 3rd time driving across the lawn cut out just like I had switched it off. Will not restart even with wire from battery positive to fuel cut valve.
Does the HP pump need the in tank pump to run to keep working
Do the fuel cut switches play up.
Plenty of fuel in it and I have changed the fuel filter after fist event

no in tank pump the main fuel pump sucks it through, you could try removing the plunger from the cut off valve and see if it still stalls but remember it won't stop running when you turn the key off you will have to stall it to stop the engine

Removing the needle and spring fixed the problem I left the wire off as well. Strangely the engine still shuts down on key off as before.
