|
|
Hi all. Old user - new name - lost details as it's been a few years (without issue - until now!)
2000 3.0 manual. Running without issue - not getting used much last 3/4 months - started twice a month and driven 6/10 miles to keep healthy.
Last twice before this non start issue had little trouble firing up - sounded like trying on a few cylinders then dropping injectors and getting lumpy - eventually clear and run drive perfect - until yesterday. Complete non start - sounded like trying. Immed thought no fuel (broken pipes again...but has new a tank and pipes) - popped the hole in boot floor - all good, as are all the pipes to motor. Oil level is good, white wire done years past as was a new reinforced pick up pipe and a new orps and new cam sensor and a new crank sensor (which turned out to be last cuplrit - ouch. bloody expensive for Kangaroo land..) Seriously miffed as we have spent a fortune on this old beast.
OK then fully charged both batteries to be on safe side - again no start.
Hooked up tech2, orps press looks fine up near 8mpa at cranking, voltage ok. Did injector test - all switched ok.
Only fault code showing was immobiliser for some reason. Cleared code, locked/unlocked and then tried another start - turing over nice n fast but still no fire.
Anyone see something I am missing?
Will try tomorrow if dry - to manual pump some diesel at filter head - to be doubly sure it's getting there.... |

So for it to go enabled it needs to see about 200rpm and the cam and crank signal at the same time and orps pressure about 4 mpa, which of those don’t you have? |

Thanks for late reply - just popping out for a well earned "beverage" and will check them all again tomorrow afternoon to be 100% with reply.
Cheers |
