Hi all
Just wanting to know if anyone is running avon ranger tyres and what do you think of them?

Also what is the best grade and make of engine oil to use?

Engine oil grade depends upon what your engine is... if its a 3.0DT you need 5w30 and nothing else!

My 2.8td gets 10W40 Halfords own brand semi-synth, reasonable price but then it's only in their for 3K miles. When it passes it's MoT I may well just invest in a 25L drum of own brand stuff from my local industrial oil suppliers. With an oil change every 3k miles quality is less of an issue. With later models with longer service intervals tehn tbh all brands are pretty muchh of a muchness (other than the 3.oL wich needs 5W30 synth.)
