My 3.0auto Trooper shifts down to 3rd at 60mph

My local Isuzu garage , which isn`t exactly local , have no idea what is wrong with my 3.0 imported Trooper . At around 60 mph it seems to change down from 4th to 3rd and stay there . They changed a faulty throttle position switch for £250 and called me to tell me it was fine . It wasn`t . The problem was exactly the same . They just told me " the computer said YES " . It is in the garage as we speak and if anyone has an answer i would be very grateful , as i believe these donuts will try to charge me for a new engine .
