Hi all
Just thought I'd let you all know about a couple of suppliers I've used recently.
The first is Jay Gee Hydraulic Services Ltd, tel 01902 404258, www.jaygee.co.uk, I got a recon power steering box for my grey import 3.1 trooper from these guys, off the shelf, for £145.00 plus VAT plus Carriage. It arrived when they said it would and the £50 surcharge was repaid in to my bank account within a few days. Worth a look.
The other is a small company in Hillington Industrial Estate, Glasgow, so it is realy only of any use to those of us on the west coast and Glasgow (ish) area. They are P+J Propshafts Ltd, 15 Edison Street, Hillington, tel 0141 882 0333. Phoned them at 11.30am to see if they could replace a Hardy Spicer for me while I waited, "if it's in stock, no problem", left Lochgilphead at 12.30pm, arrived at Hillington at about 2.00 ish, and left Hillington at 2.30pm £50 lighter, but with a shiney new HS fitted. Don't know how this price compares to anywhere else but I needed it done ASAP and this guy came through. _________________ If all else fails just nod, smile and say "Yes Dear"
