Hi folks
Does anyone know if this model has shoes inside the disc or does the handbrake operate the pads? Have to pull the handbrake up to the max and its just holding and no more.Feels like the nearside isnt doing much. Any info on changing them would be much appreciated too. Cheers

Its on the pads, there are tiny little allen keys on the calipers to adjust it Smile

In the hand book there are details of adjusting.

There is a nut to unscrew then some wadding (if there isn't put some in as they seize) to pull out then insert a 4 or 5 mill allan key, basically just nip it up and back off until the wheel turns free.

The self adjusting cam is prone where, if this is the case you may need to replace the caliper as I had to.

Any idea how the shoes are adjusted, or is it a probability they will be unservicable due to the handbrake travel and nowt happenin?

if its a mk2 and shoes check your cables where they go in to the back plate they made of two different metals and corrod
to adjust remove rubber plug behaind the metal back plate you can insert "good word that one eh " a flat screw driver and move a cog that will tighten the brake shoes then adjust to suit
but check your cables they all ways sieze and around £30 to £40 smackers or beer tokens
