When lifting a mk1 with an extended shackle, does it put more stress on the leafs because the angle has changed?

Just thinking that it will move the center from a horizontal angle to a sloping one.
Might have it wrong though

Do what I did, experiment, if it doesn't work, change it so it does .
The only thing you do have to worry about with regards to the change in angle is when you come to top up or change the oil in the rear diff, coz the filler hole will sit slightly lower, although it would hardly be noticable on a 1 inch lift.
My coiler is now running +3 Pro Comps on the back ! _________________
