Would this certain breaker yard sell a 2.8 turbo diesel engine with gearbox (from an MK1 Trooper) to a person across the Atlantic in the US? I'm still looking for a connection to where I could buy a good, used 4JB1-T with 5-speed to convert a petrol Trooper over here in the states. Thanks for your reply.

I was there on Saturday and they didn't have any Troopers in at all. Mean ass junkyard dog too.

AFTER PICKING UP SOME DAMAGE TO MY EXHAUST , PHONED AROUND TO GET A NEW ONE (VERY SILLY MONEY ) SO I CALLED THE A1 4X4 BREAKERS AND HAY PRESTO A NOT SO OLD EXHAUST AND A VERY NICE PRICE ,

I tried using these late last year ... NEVER again .... price was right but they just couldn't be arsed dealing with a female told me the owner was in the shower when i asked for them for a fuel tank for my bighorn i might aswell been talking spanish when i got hold of someone that was ..... called in on them to try and collect and they gave me a totally different price and fobbed me off with we will take it off and you can collect it tomorrow so back home i went ... AVOID these if your FEMALE there are far better breakers over in Bolton like ( campbells ) who are helpful and cheaper.

Its not the same place as it was a couple of years ago, they are now on tile st Bury doing allsorts.
They used to be a little firm working from a garage.

That is where it was on Tile Street it was behind the land rover sales, just my personal choice but i wont be going there again EVER
