Not as cheap as the eebuygum version... but its made/imported by draper tools. The guy on eebuygum slates the Draper version - yet I have heard some good reports.
I have seen them used for all sorts of work including righting rolled cars _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

The fire service use them to lift cars etc when a person is trapped.
As they are more stable than normal jacks. _________________ |

I'd love one of those, but are you guys sure that 45cms (18") is enough to lift a Trooper sufficiently?
I'm just too idle to go out and measure....
There is another advantage to them not listed here. You could easily lift a sunken wheel out of a mudrut onto a board with one (or2) of these thangs.
(It would be a Landy or Mitsi of course ) _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

Hmm... the draper jack offers 545mm lift height and has two mats to help prevent punctures. I can get the draper one for around £29 inc vat... _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Yeah...almost 22" inches - a bit of a difference.... much better..
Still needs a measure on the truck though. I'll check it out tomorrow..
Where does the Drapers one come from at that price??

Have a look at the Disco jacked up with a fully extended 22" air bag..

Don't know about you, but that back wheel looks suspiciously connected to terra firma to me... _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

You'll get a nose bleed...
There is another thing about those airjacks (in theory - not tried one but would like to).
The heavier the object to be lifted (Troop = 2 tons, they say the bags are rated to 3 tons) the more back pressure will be created on the exhaust? At what point does the back pressure strangle the exhaust and the motor dies?
This is a purely speculative question 'cos I'm curious. _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

Did you buy one eventually? Does the standard exhaust connector fit? IIRC, it's suitable for pipes up to 75mm - and the 3.0D Trooper's exhaust is exactly that.
I'm very tempted - but then again, I was very tempted by some bridging ladders a while back and though I've carried them around a few times, I've yet to use them.
Cheers
