One word---- Excellent  Very Happy
Very well done to all involved, i was expecting a small scout bonfire  Shocked
There was about 20;000 people there  Shocked
The Bonfire was Huuuuuuge  Shocked
When it started  we thaught there was a huge helicopter coming over the trees  Laughing
A great choice of music for the fireworks which were worthy of a display for Buckingham palace  Very Happy

And as for the Finale  Laughing

PS. Chris could you not find a bigger speaker, the ground was vibrating at the other end of the park  Laughing

Chris,
Great display. the kids loved it, so did we.
Sound effects were great. Music was great.
But where did the dutch detective come from?
(Van der Valk)
You weren't kidding when you said there would be a lot of people there, Cars everywhere, saw 3 Isuzus there as well. Mark's, mine and Spikes was there in a cunning disguise.

In response to NickP in the other thread - Spike called down onto the park after we had finished the clearup and just starting the "night watch"

I work at www.cpc.co.uk during the week its based at Fulwood next to Royal Mail. The at weekends as you saw this weekend I work/own www.cdsounds.co.uk  ... thats all run from home.

I think its time we had a pub meet or something for the north west...

It puzzled me ... I couldnt work out who would be driving onto the park late at night, had he pulled up in the trooper i would have trigged straight away.

Sounds like it to me, we could have a get together at someones house or at a pub whichever suites, needs to be easy to find and near the major roads (M61 by the locations of most people in the area.)
