My sidelight bulb had gone so i went and got one for a trooper as i thought they would be the same, but when i took the old one out it was a double element!! Looks the same as a combind brake and tail bulb. I will go back and get one but does any one know why you would have these on the front as i can see what the second element is for  Rolling Eyes

I presume yours is an import?

On the Bighorn they have a dual-filament bulb in the sidelight and when the headlights are on and you use the turn signal then the sidelight on the appropriate side shines bright using the 21w filament to give you extra visibility round the corner you're turning into.

One of my Bighorns had the system disconnected and the last one had it functioning - it's quite fun, really!

Hope that helps.
