Hey hey, now you're talking. A real pub and they brew their own beer too. Plus it's about 5 or so miles from Sopley so all in the same area.
That would be my choice better than Woolpack actually especially for those in Southampton, but it might be a bit of a pain for the Bournemouth and Poole guys who will have to negotiate homegoing grockles in their thousands, but, you can get to it from the A338 Ringwood to Salisbury road, right?
I'll get a map together. Anyone from Bournemouth/Poole East Dorset got any comments on that location?
Good thinking Chris. I would have thought of it had I been a drinking man.... _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

OK done some research and apparently it gets stonking busy at weekends mainly because of a camp site nearby and parking can be a mare as the car park is not that big. Linwood, to the right of the A338 Ringwood to Fordingbridge road...
Still 7pm on a Sunday won't be that bad this time of year.. so, how about it?

Cool, I prefer the Red Shoot anyway, it's more, shall we say, 4X4? And, it's a proper pub as well, none of that "if we're busy you can't just have a drink" nonsense....
C'mon you lot, it's a really cool location.
PS if you're coming from the East, get off at M27 J1 and go towards Fordingbridge (fork left, not right to Bramshaw) and then head West (left) when appropriate through Stoney Cross. You'll come across Linwood suddenly and the Red Shoot (which will appear in the trees on your right) is probably the only building for miles....
If you're coming from B,mouth Poole, Dorset, get off A31 @ Ringwood onto the A338 > Fordingbridge/Salisbury and hang a right about 1 mile along......you'll find it.....

If Simon is coming, can he bring some yellow diamonds. I keep finding the one from my old Pajero, but need a couple for the Trooper. Cash maybe exchanged!!!!
Looking forward to Sunday, and thanks, hard1, on behalf of those who do not know where the red shoot is for the directions and the map.
See you Sunday! _________________ 1992 Automatic 3.1 Bighorn

I'm slightly underwhelmed with the response so I'm going to start a new Topic with a more intuitive subject line people might understand better such as:

Oh do keep your hair on, I was planing on coming, can't make my mind up what dress to wear! Mid off shift for me so no problems I don't think, though I haven't got the necessary written permissions as of yet! _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.
