As far as phone numbers what about anyone who don't mind others having their phone no pm'ing them to a mod (marky mate Smile ), you compiling a list and pm'ing the list back with all numbers on. an easy way of having a few contact numbers. I think

I have been posting my mobile number for nearly 12 months on never had a bad call.
When we have a time and multimap location, i'll sort a small thread for contacting the "Advance party" <<< brings back memories  Laughing

I had a think about that other lot that are setting out from Corwen about  the same time as us and I don't reckon it's a good idea to 'clash' with them as they may think we're trying to spoil their business so I've thought of another meeting point and time (same time and pretty nearby) so there'll be no problems.
Also, I don't really want to post details of the route on an open forum so, when we meet, I'll just lead the way - it's easy stuff anyway and we'll be taking our time as we'll all want photos.
No need to bring any fancy recovery gear as the lanes are easy and we have lots of vehicles which can tow if necessary but it would be helpful if everyone has a good rope at the very least.
CBs would be useful if anyone has them so we know which gates to open/close at the back of the group (channel 10) and lotsa cameras and video cameras too Smile
I couldn't sort a pub lunch (although we might happen along one) so please come prepared with food and drinks as a long day out in t' country makes yer hungry.
Other than that just come along for a nice day out with some old and new friends.
Oh yes, please PM me (only if you're DEFINITELY going) for the meeting point and I'll PM it back to you as soon as I can. Sorry about the slightly cloak and dagger stuff but I suddenly got a bit paranoid  about anyone trying to spoil it all.

my vote is to leave things as they are , for the folks that may not diside they are going until the morning of the event and for the good of our club

If we all meet where and when we agreed to and happen to come across this said other event they will quickly find out that we are neither paying or cgarging for the event as its on public by-ways so what better advertising for the club could you want and in the same note is going to show the other club up for the scamers they are !

so in short i would rather keep thinks as are so as not to cause any confusion amung our members.

You will have your diamonds this weekend  Wink

Theres a 4x4 site that charge people £35 a day to show them the way on the (open to all traffic) lanes.
