Having just got myself up off the floor having asked my local dealer how much for a new key and fob I have come to you guys for advice.

I have a 2000 LWB 3.0 D Manual Citation and my question is:

I know the key has transponder in it but does the alarm fob? So can I just by any replacement alarm fob?

Hi
as the key is locked to the immobiliser/ecu
so the remote is also locked to the ecu/immobiliser
so you will need the remote coded by a dealer
go on saturday morning the fitters will normally do it for a case of beer
