Thats pretty much my thinking... they look like a good idea but im probably better off sending it in for a tunit chip (boosts it from 156bhp to 192bhp) _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

People, people. They are complete and utter bull manure and another example of how money can be fleeced from the gullible.
If a piece of tat like this really gave more MPG, more power, more torque and less emissions the manufacturers would fit them from new - it would save them millions in development work.
See this thread for more examples of daylight robbery. http://www.itocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5990&highlight= _________________ 1994 BIGHORN 3.1TD LOTUS

the trouble is most people are blinded by the words power and mpg because less emissons and more power just dont dont work in the same sentence ,its one or the other, just dont get fooled in to it . |

Not yet ... its due a service and possibly a clutch so will get them done first - then I was considering lifting it 1.5" allround and fitting a tunit box... so much to do and so little time (and money!) _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

A clutch? How many miles has it done now then? My truck needs the gearbox removing next service so am wondering about having the clutch replaced at the same time to save on the labour.
Also if you use supermarket diesel it's all 5% biodiesel! Kept that quiet didn't they! _________________ Isuzu Trooper SWB 3.0DT Commercial |

Hi there
Saw your post regarding slipping clutch and it set alarm bells ringing here.
Once a clutch starts slipping then it is obviously ready for changing due to too much travel on the pressure plate and it not being able to exert the required pressure to make the clutch plate stick to the flyweel.
Clutch plates are designed so that the asbestos plates closest to the pressure plate are slightly thinner meaning that the rivets that hold the asbestos plates to the centre plate start to wear the pressure plate first and not the flywheel so once it starts slipping its good practice to get the plate and pressure plate replaced as soon as possible as damage to the flywheel is a whole lot more expensive than a new clutch and plate.
Hope you dont think I am sticking my nose in where its not wanted but I learned this through bitter experience years ago and have never fotgotten.
