I think its sucked air in somehow as I had to pump the peddle twice before it would stop.

Good days fun Laughing

Hey rabbit.

Before you spend money on an alternator try getting yours off and stripping out the brushes. Or you could even hose it all out in position then spray rucks of WD40 into and around it. Cleanish river crossings are usually ok but muddy water can make the brushes stick in their guides and then - no power.
We know you like muddy water but your alternator probly don't. Smile

wow what a day !

After a 6am start we were on the road for 7.15 arriveing at the site at bang on 9.30 thanks to some well placed signs ( thanks twister ) and the fact that i wasnt folowing moaney the site was easy to find and had to get stuck in straight away pulling twister out of the mud in the carpark ?

Wasnt long befor folks started turning up and it was great to see more of the club members there as the best way to advertise the club is through word of mouth , have to admit the site had changed since the last time i went , it had got wetter and slippyer witch for those on at's proved a bit of an issue but in some ways added to the fun Smile

The wind must have been the biggest bug but when your at the top of what seemed to be just about everything i suppose its to be expected ( standing on the roof of my car ....... maybe not the best of ideas )

The photo shoot i think was the hardest part of the day lol getting oll the drivers to stand still where they were wanted  Rolling Eyes

But besides haveing a bit of a scare when my battery lights came on ( washed altinator within minites and they went straight out ) the day went without a hitch and would def recomend it to any club members wanting a day out .

Personal thank you's ..........

Chris for the use of the jetwasher that saved my altinator
Twister for the signs and going to locate lost members from the road
And Mr Marky (i bust it again) moan for organising the event

A special shout goes to the great ladies in the butty van that after putting up with mine and spikes banter earned there money today Smile
