I wouldnt mind lowering my low range even more!
And my high range come to think of it, running 33's aint gonna be easy!

For people with a petrol i would say fit the diffs out of a diesel as i think they have a higher ratio,
As for a reduction gear i'm sure its possible and has been done, but i think its a job for a gearbox specialist.  Question
I bet one of the US sites would have more info as it sounds like Rock crawling gear.

I have axles on from a diesel hi-lux, the ratio is the other way and does not help  Crying or Very sad

i agree with marky,lower ratio diff as got to be the easiest and cheapest way.

I was quoted £350 per diff to lower the gearing for my mk1 due to the new tyres, and an extra £1300 to add lockers Twisted Evil told em i'd think about it, 7 months ago Rolling Eyes

You could maybe try to contact those Icelanders who run seriously big bodylifts and huge tyres - they must be altering the gearing to suit with that sort of kit.
