BIG NEWS FOR ITOCUK

As some of you already know I have spent the last couple of months working "behind the scenes" with a national magazine. The magazine in question is none other than TOTAL OFF ROAD, to which I have been a subscriber for nearly 4 years now.

This excellent magazine is the only one in the country that is in touch with 4x4 clubs, and the whole off road scene at a grass roots level. Their aim is to bring the whole of the 4x4 community together into one big "family", which considering the way things are going in this country at present, is very much needed.

Anyway, the result is that in this months edition of the magazine there will be an article on the club, and a write up on the funday at Briercliffe on the 20th Jan, including some really good photos of those who were there. Further reviews of club meets will also feature in future editions of the mag, so if you want to see your motor in a national magazine...... 8)

There will also be an in depth feature on my motor, as a modified 4x4. Including some photos from a photoshoot in Corwen that went on until about 10pm. Amazing what they can do with flash photography these days .

The magazine is out on the 16th February, and is available in all good newsagents, including WH Smiths.

If, however you decide you'd rather take out a subscription, the details are as follows.

Total Off Road
01283 742970

Current subscription rates for 12 issues is £42 for UK readers, although there is always some form of discount. Currently it stands at £36 for 12 months.

Please show your support for TOTAL OFF ROAD in return for their support for the club.

Very true. I used to buy TOR every month but got fed up with reading about Land Rovers (and Suzukis, come to that). And then they made a special section - Total Land Rover. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Still, overall, a very good mag - if only for the roadbooks.

So let's do something about it then  Wink . Got me foot in the door, and Alan, the Editor is very eager to discover other motors. It's just that the majority of Off roaders in this country are green ovals.

In that case lets see if we can get the Wales trip in there - and then if not what are  they interested in ?

If some of you guys are planing on going to KORC then see if we can get something from there - would be even better as there would be a green oval there as well so it shows that we can all get along! Smile
