thought i'd put these on a new topic so you dont have to load up every photo everyone took

SETTING THE SCENE

ALONG THE START OF FIRST LANE

MY TROOP

PHOTO STOP

WE GOT OURSELVES A CONVOY AND THATS A BIG 10-4

WATER CROSSING

ANOTHER SCENIC SHOT

THANKS TO CROCKET FOR ORGANISING THE DAY - all part of the fun getting stuck and getting out.

I think the club could do with a bulk purchase of decent off road tyres for some guys Laughing

Its always surprising driving off road in snow if your not used to it,a nd its pretty easy to get stuck - as many proved, but it made the lanes and the day much more memorable

3 cheers to crocket

please send or post me any pics you guys got of my troop Laughing

Very nice photos there, some great views too. Would have loved to have gone and met up with some members, God knows we could do with a break from the baggage of life, as I suspect so could one or two others. As a matter of interest what camera are you using, they are lovely shots, I'm still using a film SLR, but can see the quality and convenience of digital means I'm going to have to convert.

camera is a fuji s9500 9m digital, one of the best around before going DSLR - (i Didnt want to go down the bags of lenses route - been there done that)

its got a 35-300mm equiv zoom built in

People often ask what camera I use - but thats only part if it Wink  - my mate bought one the same after seeing the wedding photos I did for him, but he still cant frame a shot to save his life, and he says his indentical camera aint as good as mine!

I know what you mean by the lens issue, I quite fancy a prosumer myself, far more convenient.

Post it here, Dude. We all wanna see it. Smile

By the way, can a moderator please move this thread from Club events - reviws and photos?
It wasn't a club event because Marky said so.
Should it not be in Green laning/offroading?
