Sorry to be a pain with so many questions.  I have decided to clean the suction filter and oilchange. ( or rather a friend of mine will do it ).

Are new gaskets available?
What is the correct ATF to use?
Are there any threads on this site that describe just how to get access to and extract the filter?
Are any special tools needed?
Are there any particular "tricks" I need to know?

Thanks all.

It's quite long so be patient...

Oil is ATF Dexron II or III you'll need about 8 litres.

There's no gasket fitted as standard, just silica set.  I made one out of cork gasket material and used a thin smear of blue hylomar when I did mine.

The book states the box holds 8 litres, but you will only manage to get between 3 and 5 out, so in reality a single gallon container is all you should need.
