how do i delete a post i've created. started the post "stolen caravan" now got caravan returned so need to delet the post. Any suggestions?

You can delete your own posts, just not other peoples. (Unless you're a mod of course)

Depends which section of the forum you're in. In some you can't edit or delete. This one, for example, offers the edit function but no delete.

I can't edit or delete. There used to be an edit function but it seems to have disappeared. Confused

Edit functions should be time limited anyway, stops people going back and changing posts to suit the climate. causes all sorts of problems if there is a permanent edit function in place...

That's funny, I've now got an edit button!!!

So I edited... Wink And again... Wink This is really cool... 8)

But no delete..... Crying or Very sad

Its true, i think you can edit in small talk etc but not the technical forums, as hard1 says it can cause a real mess.
You would get answers to questions that havnt been posted  Shocked
