This is a quick guide to posting pics..
First you need a host such as www.photobucket.com
Upload your pics to there.
Under each pic there are codes, heres one of mine
[IMG]http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f293/markymoan/help.gif[/IMG]
That code is exatly as it should show before you click "submit"
Apart from its my account
After you submit the pic will be posted (see next post)
Ps. you have to use a host NOT your home pc _________________ |

Ta daaaa!
You can see <-- this image, on this page, even though it 'lives' (is hosted) on another website because I have included the URL (web link) for the image inside [img][/img] 'tags' when I posted the link - like the following 'coded' example :
Code: |
[img]http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f293/markymoan/help.gif[/img] |
This only works if you have NOT checked the box :
[ ] Disable BBCode in this post
when you are making the post here!
If you DO put a tick in that box, then none of the 'special BBCode' functions will work - (they're the 'edit' tools, that let you make text bold, coloured, larger, smaller, underlined, etc ...) _________________ |

Try posting a few first by left click on the [img] one under the pic, then right click here on a new line and click paste,
If auto copy doesnt work, highlight the code then right click and copy then paste here.
Hope that makes sense _________________ |

Anything in [ with a / is the end of whatever you are trying to do
ie [img]http://yourpicturehere[/img]
Same with the size & colour
Is your post count stopping you? You would get an error though
Images must be http://www.etc, using www. won't work
Have I made any sense _________________

If you've uploaded to photobucket - under the picture there should be 3 boxes with text in
Direct Link
HTML Tag
IMG Code
If you click with the left mouse button on the text to the right of the IMG code it will copy something like [ IMG]http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb155/hornig-leyshon/chris/SNV31449.jpg[/IMG ]
(sorry Gary, was the first one in the collection)
Paste that directly into your post and should put the image in the forum.
If it's not working - let us know what the problem is. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

Shhhhh... they will start calling me a "Shiny"
Right... the little ones (like my cartoon DJ) are done from your Profile link at the top of the page... the image must be under 4KB in size (use photoshop or similar to downsize the image or email it to me and I can resize it for you).
http://www.itocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6838
The Signature picture (of my Shiny glossy Trooper) is done again thru the Profile link above - you will need an image of suitable size (ideally around 40KB max ... dialup friendly)
Mine is :
Code: |
2002 52reg LWB 3.0DTi Citation
[img]http://www.cdsounds.plus.com/troopersite/images/forumsig2.jpg[/img] |
(no spaces between the [img] and [/img] around the url and the pic will appear)
Hope this helps. _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60
