I found out about the trooper injector recall last august and contacted Isuzu. Found out it was a grey import from cyprus and was told to contact isuzu europe. it is now on their data base but I was told it would have to wait for the other 12000 plus vehicles to be fixed before imports are recalled. I was also told they would contact me to arrange recall work.
I contacted them later last year and was basicly told to be patient.
am I being to patient or should I be making more noise.
Would appreciate any help you can give
thanks

I would keep checking your oil (checkin it is not rising) on a regular basis and maybe a polite phone call?? _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Hi Dave,
We are in the same boat t the moment. Found out ours is an import from Cyprus too. Contacted the importer in Cyprus, he told us he would send the injectors to us FOC (we have to £100 air freight). Upon receipt we have been told to phone IM Watford who will arrange for our local Isuzu dealer to fit them FOC.
Hope this helps a bit but we are still in limbo. |

Mine's not an import, but I managed to get the recall work done before I got the letter, simply by asking my local dealer if they could fit it in when it went in for a clutch fitting. I would say a polite phone call can't do any harm. _________________

If you find the oil to be rising it then jumps the queue and becomes an emergency, I suppose they don't want replacement engines rather than injectors.
When I had mine donethey were just as happy to do imports as they were UK.spec.
give them a call, you will be hard pressed to find anyone more helpfull. |
