Here are my pics.

Photos

I must say Stanage Edge is not for the faint hearted, if you are not lifted you need to be very careful, and don't go alone.

P.S. If you want a full size file just PM me, otherwise feel free to save and do as you wish them. Please note the copyright remains with E.S.Photography.

I'm sure that you said something along the lines of 'as long as your not in a freelander you'll get over fine' Wink

Photo's are ace, really really good...

There's a couple of the ' edge which I think show the size of the bolders - when the troops suddenly change angle from pointing skywards to nose into the ground in a foot or so...  It's difficult to put it all in perspective, but nice to have a look over them all

Is it me, or did you manage to get a shot of both your front wheels off the ground?

Anyone fancy puting a short review together to send in to TOR with the pics?

I am away for a week from tomorrow night, so if anyone has a sudden rash of creativity, please PM your creation to me. Otherwise it will be left to my rather dubious writing skills Rolling Eyes

Did the steps at Banford down hill Wink)

What a great day was had - The fox house, down Houndkirk road, across to redmires to go over the top of stanidge, matski was the only one who dared do the whole length, myself siweb and gary820 all decided that the potential for damage far outweighed the risks, saying that we all managed to get half way down the face before chickening out Wink (obviously the only reason matski went down is because 4 discos went down before us, and he wasn't going to loose face Razz ) - Getting back up after turning was interesting though. From stanidge, across new road to the back of Bamford, then down a nice little ?!?!? decent to the anglers rest in bamford (this being the bamford steps by the sound of it) for a little refreshment, then onto two other tracks, one by shatton - which had a nice little play area half way along - also the humor of watching a paraglider nearly land on top of a pile of troopers -, and another track just the other side of the A57 towards dungwoth (yes these are all peak district places!!!), which was a nice little jaunt to end the day.

7 hours in all, and much much fun.

.

how about a version of dxmedias sum up of the day could go towards making a review?? something to work from??
