East of England show ground Peterborough

We went last year and i nearly won the show and shine (only mk1 there)
If there is enough interest we could join the other clubs there this year  Wink

So what do you think its the weekend 20-22 july, its £20 including camping or caravan for the whole weekend.

I could be tempted to go. Was going to go last year, but lost all internet in the months before hand, and thus, never arranged anything.

For all car club people there is no charge for camping/caravaning, this charge is just for the genral public - for the privelege of spending the weekened with us/you lot! LOL

Its £15 per person for the weekend, camping including caravans free for members of a club which has paid the deposit in advance
Would be nice if you came, will come over and say Hi, ill be with the

But you never know I can always ask

All Peterborough shows are a haven for caravanners and campers i see lots of the same faces no matter what the show.you can go a few days early leave a few days late so it makes for a cheap long weekend in central England.
as i have stated before as far as showgrounds go the rubbish is collected and the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis,if you think you are going to walk straight into a shower at peak times on a showground well your a plonker
some of the complaints i have seen on the jap forum are ridiculous
its my favorite showground with Stafford a close second
theres some building work going on the campsite so as i am there this weekend i will check this out and post the results
the bmf show campers are moved to a site 1 mile away.
but this is a much larger show

I go to peterborough in my van quite a lot and it is not the showers/toilets that I need to persuade my wife about!  Very Happy The van supplies all we need it is more that I have a 2 year old son, she will be 6 months pregnant by then and I have two large dogs that are not that house trained! Laughing So she will most probably prefer a quiet weekend away
