I get to work around the country a lot and tend to use my caravan rather than hotels when possible, I take my laptop but it is Very rare that I can pick up wifi an a caravan site. Does anyone know how to connect to the internet using a mobile phone as the modem?, Confused  I can't find a data card which fits so see the phone as my only option.
Dell inspiron 1300 / Sony ericsson W800i /Nokia 6310i.
All advice gratefully received dark1

I think you will find the cable that came with the sony will connect you.. You might have to use the pc suite that came with it also. or get it here

Built into this is the mobile connection wizard

Would it not be easier to get one of the used GPRS cards off eebuygum? They can be found pretty cheap and give towards 256k speeds (half broadband)...

No I don't have a pc slot steve, it's the express card slot in mine and I haven't found a card to fit yet, I did buy a card off eebuygum Chris then found it wouldn't fit  Rolling Eyes  Wifi is expensive here in the smoke and its' not really worth subscribing to a deal for the times I am away, hence the phone option it's just figuring out how to do it mate Sad
