Just a quick question can anyone recommend a good dog guard to fit a Trooper (LWB) must be Springer Spaniel proof

only a pup at the mo and hopefuly when fully trained will stay put when told but just in case    ......  I dont want a filthy stinking dog in the front chewing things after a days beating.

Keep an eye on eebuygum as they occaisionally come up - I managed to get mine through the local free addss - an Isuzu one

if your'e not sorted with the dog guard iv'e got one from a previous trooper that i never got around to selling if your'e interested.only trouble is the distance.

Just a tip here, I bought a car type one from Halfords...RAC guard, it has those pull and twist legs, I ditched those and put some long threaded bar and a couple of nuts to tighten it in place, works like a good un and does`nt fall over when you drive. If the rough thread on the bar is exposed, cable tie some pipe lagging over it, looks pretty good.

but might give a try, as you say the normal legs on these things just collapse as soon at any pressure is applied

You can get crates for your Trooper boot - not cheap but very good.
