Hi

my bighorn 3.1d ran fairly cold at just under quarter on the gauge, it would always warm up to that but never went higher even in 35 degree heat last summer (which in itself is a bit odd) however I looked down at the dash yesterday and aaargh...it was nearly at the top of the scale (though not on the red)  Managed to get moving and got some airflow over it which dropped the temp, got home and this morning topped up the oil / water and went for a spin everything looked ok.  Then I went shopping and in town it started to rise again though fell as soon as I got moving.  I then pulled over and let it idle for 5 - 10 -  15 minutes and the gauge didnt move even when I was letting it sit at 2k revs....

any ideas?????
