Sad  Help my fuel flap door will not open, Wife went to get fuel  Embarassed, I assume that the internal cable has gone, is there a release hole that I can poke a screwdriver in as I cannot find one. Has anyone had this problem or has some suggestions and not my normal solution of hitting it with a big hammer, fortunately we have other vehicles so I am not stuck on the roadside.

Regards Les

Never paid too much attention to the release for the flap.  But the easiest way to get to the inside would be to remove the light cluster.  Would think you should be able to pull the cable from there.

or there is some a thin strip of trim in the boot that may let you get to it

Very Happy Thanks guys, removed rear light cluster, good job I have small hands,
I was able to pop a screwdriver in the place of the cable release and the door sprung open,  Very Happy  The cable had come out clipped it back into place and wd40'd it working just as it should.
