DYLAN runs on LPG  Rolling Eyes

37mpg is superb from a 3.0 ... at best (driving like my father) I get 33mpg on a long motorway run at a static 60mph ish with only me onboard. Daily mpg is closer to 28mpg at the mo.

All in all we had 10 days over there and stayed about 20 miles away from brunschweig, we went to numerous places including mittlebou dora camp, i think in all we did nearly 2500 miles round trip, and it cost £250 bearing in mind LPG and fuel is as much if not more than it is here.

I have a feeling that this is not accurate - too short a journey and amount of fuel - you could have had a air block in you tank when you filled up again which would have caused you to stop filling

Fill your tank to the brim - then run it almost empty - Fill to the brim again and note how many miles and litres.

Divide the number of litres by 4.54 (to give gallons) and then divide that into the number of miles.

So if you did 400 miles on the tank and put in 60 litres your calculation would be as follows=

60/4.54= 13.215

400/13.215 = 30.26mpg

You would be very lucky to get 37mpg consistently - I would suggest a figure nearer 27 ish would be more what you will get over time

absolute no blockage, and no i dont expect 37mpg all the time, that was done on the a12 doing a steady 60 - 70mph so was a straight road with hardly any braking and in fifth gear for a vast majority of journey.

from that i am roughly expecting about 30 - 31 mpg around and about.
