Hi all, i have a 3.0 1999 td lwb, had some issues back in march, which with your help and advice got all campaign work done up to date, serviced etc running on 5w/30 synthetic oil etc, done 1000 miles ish since all this with no probs, but a couple of days ago it wouldnot start, left for a while then it started , today it made no effort to start and i noticed the dash light for the the pre heater was not on , ive checked fuses etc,all ok, unfortunately ive only had this car for 8 months and its given me nothing but trouble, i had a 3.1 td on a k plate i wish i hadnt sold it, it was trouble free for 4yrs, inbetween im sorry to say ihad a classic range rover and a p38 again with no trouble except its fondness of the fuel, ive come back to isuzu  but am now wondering why. Sorry to go on , my dealer is 40 miles away is there any other dealers that could help do you think? maybe a vauxhall main dealer ref the monterey link ? appreciate any help you can give.

When mine wouldn't start it was the oil pressure switch.  The 3.0td will not fire its injectors if it thinks there is not enough oil pressure - unfortunately you need someone with a tech 2 computer to check it properly - your local vauxhall dealer may be able to help of they have the Isuzu card for their Tech 2 - otherwise it is a trip to your local dealer:(

The switch is not expensive and shouldn't take long to fit and then programme in

Keep with it as they are good vehicles
