Thanks. You would't think so to look at, but he can jump too!!! just had to put a higher fence all round the paddocks.
We broke him to ride as well. The daughter gets some funny looks riding him but she done really well at the Norfolk Show on him this year. _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |

this is me and my boy apache or patch when at home at our first in hand show taking a yellow ribbon (3rd) in the cob class. he had sat down in the lorry on the way to the show and a partition had fallen on him. his fault cause he was scratching his capacious *beep* on it and broke the spring bold holding it in..... lol
he is 11 years old and a shade over 16hh, he has tried to die on me with colic twice and the second time he was rushed in to surgeory at 2230 and had 7ft of dead gut removed!! he is now fitting fit and pushing the scales at about 850kgs
my other half schools him to do dressage, he can do it but it is a fight. i am going to try trec with him and hopefully a trip to the local gallops and a trip to the beach to blow the winter cobwebs away with me onboard!!!!!
he is one of the most honest lads you could want to meet and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. |

Dont know if this is still going, im new here so we will see, lol. At the moment we have gone down to 3 horses, my wife is an equine thrapist, she is classically trained and also trains horses and riders.
We are into natural horesemanship on all ours and william, a 16.2 ex racer is now competing in dressage, and has been doing very well.
One of the horses we sponsor is also going well a lovely coloured.
We travel all over with the equine therapies business, and ill put some pics up if anyone is still reading watching this one |

Got us one of these earlier in year as its the only thing other than a lorry to get our Soffolk Punch in. Any one had any problems with them. |
Only getting them out of soggy fields lol - heavy and poor ground clearance - result = bits fall off. Prefer me old 505 classic or the (now deceased) Rice Continental. But neither of them would fit your lad lol. There was a recall on them for wheel bearings last year sometime (check with your dealer/Equitrec if not already done), IMHO the axle spread that allows them to tow really nicely is too great for tight turns on a hard surface. _________________ If all else fails just nod, smile and say "Yes Dear"

The recal was for 2007/2008 built ones. Ours should be OK as its a 2010. I guess it's a bit like this place, mostly, you only hear from people with problems.
Thanks for the "heads up though" _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |
