Hi all, after having the trooper for a few weeks im still noticing noticing the fuel smell. i filled up sunday and noticed fuel leaking out, i think it might be the overflow return pipe but with the frequent smell and poor economy i think there is a leak so im going to replace the tank and filer. Does any1 know what is inside the tank (apart from fuel) and how hard it might be.

I've not done it on an Isuzu, but I've just helped a mate do the same job on his Nissan Patrol, which looks very similar.

Pretty easy really. Draining the fuel from the tank was the hardest part !!

A trolley jack with a wooden pad to spread the load/weight will help.

Make sure your fuel light has been on for a good few miles before you start, and you'll be fine.
