I have a cd player in my trooper but every time i turn the ignition off the radio loses it's memory Shocked  I when i turn it back on i have to reset all the radio stations again. anyone know where a permenant live is?[/font]

There is probably another live into the radio, one ignition switched and the other permanent.  It keep the memory live and allows you to turn the radio on without ignition on.  Google your head unit and see if you can find the wiring details for the connector on the back.

The wiring on the back of your stereo will have two lives... usually they are one yellow (or orange) and one red wire. If you meter these one will be permanent live and the second a switched live with the ignition - you may just need to switch the wires over....

If not then its back to PhilP's suggestion...

If you haven't got a permanent live you can pick one up from the clock, this is the one that is used normally.
