Why not just run a fused line straight from the battery? _________________ Phil

There is probably another live into the radio, one ignition switched and the other permanent. It keep the memory live and allows you to turn the radio on without ignition on. Google your head unit and see if you can find the wiring details for the connector on the back. _________________ LotusTower - '93 Lotus Bighorn |

The wiring on the back of your stereo will have two lives... usually they are one yellow (or orange) and one red wire. If you meter these one will be permanent live and the second a switched live with the ignition - you may just need to switch the wires over....
If not then its back to PhilP's suggestion... _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

If you haven't got a permanent live you can pick one up from the clock, this is the one that is used normally. _________________ Ian
