Has anyone come up with a decent none destructive way of mounting the twig, I don't want to use a mag mount cos they still make marks, I'd thought about getting some sort of roof bar and mounting it on that cos I'd prefer it to be central on the car for an even spread of signal.

Quite a few use the spare wheel bolts to mount, but roofbars are good if they are earthed properley.

I put a roof bar from Halfords on the roof and mounted it the centre of the rail.  Wire through back door and run through to front.  Lots of coax but works a treat.  earthed the bar with a second cable to the hinge on the rear door.

Cor look! Activity in the radio thread! Woo Hoo....... my 'non-destructive' mounts are NMO 'trunk'/boot lip mounts that I mounted on the air foil above the rear window.... if you care to check out my web page, you may be able to catch a glimpse of the set up, just no up close shots. If you would like for me to post some rather detailed photos, I would be glad to, just ask.

Oh and by the way, all of my coax for the aerials that are roof mounted run in throught the edges of the back doors, where I have left a drip loop to keep water out and from there they run behind all of the interior trim.
