It's been mentioned a couple of times, but who would be up for a weekend (Sat night) of camping in the Peaks, with Sat and Sun spent greenlaning?

My thoughts would be a family orientated campsite, and doing a few miles before and after a few beers / bit of a bbq.

November so will be a little chilly in the evening, and the greenlanes should be lost their summer baked effect Wink

Any thoughts or suggestions? Dove dale has an ace campsite, and there's another nice one I know outside of Bakewell for anyone who fancies a tart?

The agenda would have to cover Stanage edge, and the hope vallley - I think that there's a threat of a certain someone trying to get up it  Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil and it's doable by pretty much a stock trooper if you've the balls to go down and risk your sills :SVery Happy, but apart from that it would be pretty much what anyone else was up for.

Any takers?

AT's should be fine - greenlaning is far softer work than off roading on a course - I went out with the Monterey the other day and the tyres are needing replacement (worn) and AT's, all was fine Very Happy
