I just had mine re cored at auto cool in the industrial center of James street. I think it's about £130 for a standard core.

Have you taken the rad out to look for the leak?

How far back did you mount the engine? is it viscous or electric fan?
I have a Frontera 2.5TDS/3.2V6 rad on mine with a paccet electric fan, damn thing runs that cold i struggle to get the cab warm Shocked
A friend mounted his engine a little too close to the rad and every time he hit a big rut his viscous would destroy the rad Laughing  Laughing  Laughing
There is a little difference in the thickness of the rads i believe!

Cheers

Mark

rads in the right place , i made a couple of bushes on my lathe to fit the sides of the rad to use the fronty fittings and the trooper hoses, i think tho its the flex thats sprung it , i've been too tight to splash out on a fronty bottom hose , but im starting to think that the solution , its done 8500 miles mind since i fitted the engine so i cant moan too much !
