Not advertising at all, but this is supposed to be a paj with a PTO winch on it?
Quote: |
It has a 3.5 tonne winch which runs off the gears. |
Any one heard of one, or am I getting the wrong end of the stick with this?
Interesting though _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

I know Isuzu offered a winch as an option on the MK1 as its covered in the handbook but from memory I think it was an electric. PTO winces are great but they do assume a running engine so not so good for self recovery when you've drowned yours. _________________ Phil

its not a big job to fit a pto providing you have a blanking plate on the gearbox to fit one, normally its just 4 or 6 bolts then a case of spacing the gears correctly(to tight whining from gearbox and to loose backlash) then simply fit some system of engaging it electro magnet solenoid, air, cable or mechanical lever. |
