Guys & Gals please help..

I'm looking to sell my 1995 3.1TD Bighorn but here comes the winter and for some reason it doesnt like the cold.

The symptoms are that it struggles to get any power going at under 2000rpm and then it all kicks in and drives perfectly...but until it is seriously warmed up if the revs drop below that level (i.e overdrive kicks in) then I have the same problem ..

Could it be the turbo sticking (non techncial term !!)

By the way...whilst I'm putting my foot down to get the revs higher..it smoles white smoke..

Quick and detailed responses would be appreciated huely
