In my very limited experience the Trooper LWB is very very capable motor off the shelf.
Fitted some 265 Colway AT's which gave it a bit if a lift, and she performed faultlessly _________________

A lwb will be better is certain circumstances, generally those found on rough roads, so as an expedition vehicle a LWB wins hands down. A SWB tends to pitch and buck much more on corrugated dirt roads and can be very uncomfortable BUT for "proper" off roading a SWB will win hands down, like I said, better turning circle, better breakover, often better departure angle. You won't see many LWB vehicles at trials and comp safaris. _________________ Phil
