Hi all
just had my 02 3.0td serviced by Heritage in leicester (dealer) who added part number;893565 (diesel additive) as a precaution due to all the issues with injectors etc.... They have never done this before (i always get trooper serviced by them) and im wondering if you guys have had this as a service item or use it yourselves?
nb service was 54k one.

i thought so...maybe it`s simply to get another £13 out of a already stiff service charge.
i would be interested in whether anyone else who uses main dealers have had the same included in their service!!!
Maybe the little extra is to pay for the works xmas party |

Try this.
Diesel additive 300 ml More pictures Diesel additive ZUS-DIESEL-ADDITIV-300ML SABESTO solves and removes deposits, in particular in the microbe realm from injection pump and injection nozzles. Their advantage: · reduces the soot portion in the exhaust gas. Neutralized and sour condensation binds. think you've had your leg lifted on this one, whats the point of using it once every 6k miles or 12 months surely you would have to use it every tankful or so. |

Some additives have a cetane booster in them which acts much like an octane booster in a petrol and is supposed to give you more power. It sounds like this has this but yes it appears to be mainly an injector cleaner. _________________ Phil

I guess i was the guinea pig for their little experiment The trooper seems to run smoothly (but i always think that after a service) so ill keep you informed of any extra special abilities it may have following the additive (magic )when it has done it`s work |
