I just picked up my new(1992)bighorn from the warehouse(just arrived from japan) the car looks like new and drives like new (101000 km) the only problem is when idling temerature gauge hardly moves up when driving it goes just below half and stays there even going uphil-does it mean my thermostat is out?Water pump, coolant and timing belt was replaced in japan. |

Sounds pretty normal, ours gets to full temp, just below half, and stays there no matter what even if the water level has dropped a bit. _________________ LotusTower - '93 Lotus Bighorn |

I think they are known for quite cool running engines, I might be wrong, but I believe it's one reason for the ceramic heater. Mine does the same, sits just under half way no matter what you are doing. _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.
