Hi all,
Another "Ham" here !! God, how I HATE that term, I much prefer "Radio Amature"
Anyway, name is John, QTH Wretham, near Thetford Norfolk, Callsign G0WIJ, used to be G6DDV back a few years ago.
I don't get on the ether at all nowadays, I keep finding too many other things to do !!!
My mobile rig, when it is fitted is an Icom IC 706, but as I have only just become a Trooper owner this week, (a 1992 3.2 petrol Duty), it is not fitted as yet , maybe I will get around to it soon !!!
I just thought I would say Hi to you all.
Well, that's about it from me for now, 73s all, catch you further down the log.

Hi guys,
The name is Mike, ZL2MGS (so I'm guessing we're not likely to be talking anytime soon) - generally take the FT-817 in the Trooper with which I've had some good results on 2m and 70cm while mobile - I've just got to convince the better half that an HF whip would be a tasteful and useful accessory.
