Yup, its a pita  Sad
I'm thinking of a board in front of the rad for off road but use an electric fan on the back to help cooling, and making it so the fan can be swithed off for wading through slime.  Sad

How about a bit of perspex spaced off the grille a bit so the air can still be pulled in by your levvy fan.  That or if its a dedicated off road toy move the rad to the back!

How about a fine steel mesh over the grill, it will catch a lot of the mud before it gets to the rad and will be easier to give a quick clean as the day goes on  Question
