Having read the forum I am alarmed to hear how many people are unaware of the assistance available through Isuzu (uk) for problems originating from faulty injectors. As a dealer can I clarify that the dealer nett work is extremely happy to carry out recalls dispite the vehicles age or service history. Import vehicles can present a challenge but providing the vehicle is correctly registered with the IM group the problems are not insurmountable.
It seems dreadful to hear of vehicles being left without the injector recalls being carried out and exposed to engine failure, I urge all owner to contact their local dealer and arrange for this work to be carried out if applicable. I can assure everyone that we are happy to assist in 99% of cases it's only if the engine has been badly repaired that we would consider not being able to assist.
The major symptom is bad running, engine oil level increasing, turbo filling with oil or in extreme cases the engine running at full rev's on it's own. Please if you have any of these issues telephone your dealer and see if your vehicle has outstanding recalls.
