S  H  A  N  D  Y !!!!

Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Where's the settling yeast in that?

I'll speak to mike though Very Happy - I don't know if we'll be able -- going to split the journey and be leaving Northampton at about 7 ish in the morning. Have to get south, load, then back up north again early enough to unload and sort the trailer to be dropped back off at the hire place for early monday morning.

If anyone has done this treck and wants to add a sensible time scale? --- It's going to be a sub 60 on the motorways to cut back on fuel consumption, so feet up and radio 4...

I've done southampton docks and back in a transit van in 9 hrs. Traffic was pretty good and no hiccups. i just dropped some gear at the Qe2. as marky said i would allow 10hrs though with no big stops.

I do this sort of trip all the time and if I was towwing my unit I would say 4 1/2 m8

The trick with long trips is never go into the services. Make one stop and just go to the garage. You loose so much time at the services.

Thanks ye all,

We're going to head off on the Sat afternoon, stop over at Mikes parents (Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy fooooood), then leave early Sun, so I'd hope to be in southampton about 10:30ish. Load up which i'll take a little bit of time due to teh 3x3 nature of the frontera, heading north before midday would be nice. Great to know I'll be back in time for top gear Very HappyVery Happy
