Hello all,

I have a 3.2 V6 with LPG which up until yesterday had been very reliable. Drove to work as normal, parked up but come finishing time the *beep* wouldn't start.  Rolling Eyes

There is a spark but it appears, no fuel. Even attempting an 'emergency start' on gas doesn't seem to work.

I've trawled this excellent forum and have seen the threads relating to immobiliser issues with Troopers.

So I'm wondering, does the immobiliser cut both fuel & spark or fuel only?

Any input gratefully received.

Surely in this temp it should be starting on petrol not LPG?  So do you have petrol getting to the plugs?

I think the emergency start bypasses the petrol start and just goes straight for gas( I have not got this feature). Mine only runs on petrol until it hits about 1800 rpm (about 3 secs) then goes straight to gas. Bloomin finikey things Laughing  Laughing

Take the fuel pipe off after the filter to make sure petrol is pumping through(even though it should have started on gas). If yours is an underslung tank the pump will probably be near the filter under rear of drivers side on the chassis. Has it been backfiring? or any other symptoms? and has it got just factory fitted immobiliser or an aftermarket also? Auto manual? will it bump or jump? this weather tends to find buggere*d battery's. some cars will seem to turn over normally but if it is just a bit short of power will not fire. Just some idea's to play with if you have not already sorted it.
