hi all just been thinking of fitting a switch to stop anybody starting my truck   and where to hide the switch as some places are easy to find ? any help and ideas would be great    thanks in advance  to all     mark in jamaica

You could fit the switch where it can be found but also feed it through the quick warm up switch as thats one you wont need and it will throw them off track    Smile

funny i had the same idea  but i wasnt gonna use an extra  switch just the same fast warm up  but maybe your idea is better still gonna hang on and see what other ideas come up  could always fit  a full grown german shepherd to the  steering  LOL  ,   thanks   mark ,.......

A friend of mine many years ago was an auto electrician.  He had the ignition circuit on his (very nice) MK3 Cortina wired through the brake light switch so you had to have your foot on the brake to start it.  Very embarrasing for the coppers that stopped him one evening who had to get him back out of the car so he could start it for them so they could drive it to the pound.
