after visiting MarkyMoan who gave me some tips (Cheers Marky u r a star Very Happy ,I have stopped the need for choke to stop cut out-IT WAS PIPES ON TOP OF FUEL TANK KNACKERED SO HA VE AQUIRED NEW TANK FROM SCRAPYARD OFF 3.1TD SWB AND PUT IT ON----HEY PRESTO NO LOSS OF POWER!!!!!
---------BUT------ Sad STILL NO OVERDRIVE AND INTERMITTANT JERKIN WHEN NORMAL DRIVING (not in overdrive) ---almost as though is not getting enough fuel----any ideas????
Will be doing the 4 times in a week oil change as recommended by Grandad  & Lucas Trans Fix in last change, but do I clean filter once at 1st oil change or at last????
Crying or Very sad I am mucho fed up as I luv my Talula truck but cant stand earache from other half (old car! gas guzzler! should get rid,etc. etc.)!!!!!
Am Deperate Damsel in Distress!!!
Can anyone shed any further light on Talula's Trials & Tribulations

The fluid was low and a horrid colour, I would do the box filter asap because all the crud is blocking the oil flow  Smile

Not off hand, but you could try jay bee motor spares near farnworth town hall, he has racks of chemicals and potions there.

I have had the same probs with the OD. I got the trans fix from e-bay. If your stuck I have a spare bottle.
I am not a million miles away.
